Filter and Transposer failing to work

Title: Filter and Transposer failing to work

OS: Windows XP Home Edition

Description of Problem:

When i hook the filter and/or transposer into a pneumatic tube it stops working, the animation stops and it wont pick any items up until the tube is broken and after the tube is broken it spits out the item, they work fine in SinglePlayer but in SMP they just don't work.

Got the same problem, but there are no problems with regular blocks like Cobblestone oder Dirt. But if there is Tin Ore, it seems that it obstruct the tube.
