Update Failing, Not Connecting, Server not recognizing Forge, Failed to Clear Cache

Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit

Java Version: 1.7.0_05

Antivirus Program: I have had several issues over the last hour or so, though some of the issues have been occuring over the last couple days. So I'll take them one at a time:

1) Update Failing: Most recent. Just says that the update failed and will not load a thing.

2) Not Connecting to minecraft.net: Self-explanatory. Happens about 90% of the time, 5% it loads, but loading screen disappears when attempting to load.

3) Server not recognizing Forge: On the occasion I do get in, a server I have played on recently says that it requires Minecraft Forge to be installed.

4) Failed to Clear cache: Self-explanatory

I have already reinstalled the launcher while my Antivirus was disabled.
