Title: Saving Chunks Error

OS: Windows 7

Java Version: 6.0.240.7 64-bit

Description of Problem:

What I did is in the launcher I choose Tekkit, not Technic, and the game loads and then I play my single player Tekkit game. So this problem is happening in Tekkit singleplayer, not Technic singleplayer. Anyways, I go into the game pause menu, click on options and then click on global mod settings. As soon as I click on global mod settings, the screen goes to the world loading screen and says saving chunks. After a little bit the screen then goes completely white and tekkit becomes unresponsive.

Also, this is my first time ever using Tekkit and these forums. So if someone could explain to me how to get the error message for my game and the error log so I could post it here, that would be really helpful and I would be very gratefull. I also really want to be able to solve this problem soon so that I can be able to change the spawn settings for mo'creatures without having the game crash on me.

O, your talking about the NEI options. Also update your JAVA to 7.

No, I was trying to access the Mo'creatures in-game options and everytime I did the game crashed on me. Also, will update to JAVA 7.

I'm having the same issue, but I'm using Java 7, so the problem doesn't appear to be tied to that.

Okay, the problem is that the file mods/mocreatures/guiconfig.properties is missing. What you need to do is copy/create that file. You can find a copy of the file here, posted by Torezu: http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/crash-when-going-to-global-mod-settings.14923/

After you install that file, you should be able to open Global Mod Settings without crashing.
