Sense when a chest if full?

Is there a way to send items to a chest with pipes, then sense then the chest is full and send the items somewhere else?

If you use RP2 pipes they have automatic routing and will send items to the nearest available valid destination. If that destination becomes full they will be routed to the next nearest valid location.
