EE only works properly on main map

Title: EE only works properly on main map

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OP

Java Version: Java 7 Update 5, 32 and 64 bit

Description of Problem:

EE seems to only work properly on the main map. Transmutation tables will not work in the nether. On a server with multiverse, the amulets and rings do not work properly on the alternate worlds, but everything seems to work just fine on the main map.

PS. I am an OP on the multiverse server. Another op was testing things out and a lot of bugs were in the multiverse world and not just with EE. Still taking fall damage while wearing the gale, and taking the fire damage while wearing the volcanic.

As for the non Multiverse world (I am not an OP), I forgot to bring a lighter with me, and so made a transmutation table. When I placed items in the left side, nothing showed up, and when i burned some netherack I received no EMC. After getting an op to light my portal for me, I returned to my table on the normal side, and the EMC from the netherack being burnt was there.
