Description of Problem:

Certain parts of EE don't work properly, or start and stop working at random intervals. Specifically the Destruction Catalyst/Catalytic Lens

You need to actually describe the problem when making a thread. Simply saying "it no work" really doesn't do you much good as there's no way for us to narrow the problem down.

I'm not sure exactly how to describe it other than it just doesn't work. I can make a destruction catalyst or catalytic lens, but if I try to activate its functions, it doesn't work. No crashes happen, the sound effect still plays, but when there should be a giant hole appearing, nothing happens.

Are you on a server? Are you using the right keys? Is the item even enabled on your server? Do you have fuel? These are things we need to know.

I've tried both in single player and on a server, and it does the same things on both. On the server it will work for others, but not for me. The item is enabled, I use the right mouse button to activate it, and it does have fuel (though if I recall correctly, even with no fuel it should still remove a 3x3x1 chunk of blocks when activated).

What are you using for fuel?

I charged it while in creative mode, so it probably counted as being charged with Aeternalis fuel. I'm not entirely sure.

Use a charged Klien Star. See if that works.

Still nothing. I used a Klein Star to charge it, but it still does nothing when I activate the destruction catalyst.

What do you mean "Charge it"? That's not how these items work. You use the charge key (default V) to increase the charge and shift + v to decrease. The charge level determines the area of effect. To actually use the item, however, you need EMC in the form of fuel in your inventory. You need either a Klein Star with EMC in it or fuel such as redstone. Btw, this isn't a bug; this is a Tekkit question. Next time post it in the General Tekkit forum.

I did use the charge key to charge the destruction catalyst. I know it is a bug because even if the destruction catalyst has no EMC to feed it, it will still remove blocks that are just one block away from you.
