Technic Launcher won't start

Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 3 32-bit

Java Version: Java version 7 update 5

Antivirus Program: When I try to open TechnicLauncher.exe, it will download the files or it will check the version, but nothing else opens. I have given it plenty of time to open (over an hour) and deleted and re-installed Java but nothing works!

Try this:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\.techniclauncher

right click on techniclauncher.jar choose run with java.

Oddly enough that work even though it was already running with Java. Thanks!

Actually I take it back. It made a couple of other files in .techniclauncher and showed the logo but is doing the same thing from the begining

same problem and when i run the .jar file it says minecraft has run out of memory and crashes within about 30 seconds

which is pretty much impossible i have 8g of ram in my PC

Go to %appdata% go to your .techniclauncher folder go down to technic-launcher.jar and right click go open with java platform SE librurary and there we are... done!

Ok I finally got it to run through the .jar file but it's fps with the lowest graphics settings and game booster with nothing else running is like 3. But I guess you can't have the best of both worlds!

@DA: What pack version are you running? If it's Technic 7.x.x, it doesn't have OptiFine installed. I highly recommend doing that to drastically improve performance.
