Friend cant connect to server!

Hi Im running a tekkit server using hamachi on a windows 7 comp. i have 6 gigs of RAM and java 7

my friend is unable to connect to my hamachi server ingame tho I have him the IP

I followed a tut and set it all up but my friend cant seem to connect

plz help
