cant find java directory

Operating System: Windows 7 ASUS Desktop 32 bit Operating System

Java Version: v 7 update 5

Antivirus Program: when i try to open my techniclauncher it starts to open checking downloads and another window pos up that says cant find java directory...

what do i do to resolve this solution

Almost the exact same thing is happening to me but I am getting fatal error reports. Now Java seems to be gone.

Apologies i am new to this and it really freaked me out, especially since i just upgraded my ram today.'

I followed the thread. executed the command but the Java window opens for about three seconds and then closes.

I used the cut and paste instructions but nothing come up in my start up menu. Hence the post.

Now I will try it again... it seems to be working, thank you for not being as short with me as you could have been. it is appreciated.

wierd because i made the file that freakachu told me to use and i saved it like he told and it didnt do anything... is the .bat supposed to be at the end?
