I login, then the launcher will endlessly say Checking for a Minecraft/Tekkit update.

Operating System: Windows 7

Java Version: Java 7 Update 5

Antivirus Program: I put in my login requirments (username, password) and when I login, the launcher will say Checking for a Minecraft/Tekkit Update. The thing is, it wont stop checking for one. Therefore I cannot play tekkit.
