Antivirus Program: When I open launcher It says checking launcher version Then disappears instantly

When I open launcher It says checking launcher version Then disappears instantly

you can download the launcher.jar from the teckkit homepage. the link is like the .exe but it is titled .jar

That doesn't especially matter, especially if it's the 32-bit version of Windows 7. Just run with the .jar. If you don't know how to create a batch file, download the Tekkit server software, grab the launch.bat file out of there, and change the file name inside it.

you dont need to know how to code anything, if you download the Launcher exe and it doesnt work, download the Launcher jar that is directly under the exe and it should open fine.

the Launcher jar works with windows 7. its a jar file which means it runs off of java
