Launcher Fails to Download Files, Emblem Stays

Launcher Version: Launcher EXE 1.0.1.3 (Latest)

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit

Java Version: Version 7 Update 4 1.7.0_04-b22 Standard Addition <--- also not sure if my comp is using correct Java for minecraft

Antivirus Program: I download the EXE, it does the 100% thing yada yada. Open up the .techniclauncher folder and run the technic-launcher jar. The launcher loads up and shows the rotating arrows then the logo come up and stays on the screen till the process is ended in task manager, otherwise it is not responsive.

Exact same problem. Tried clearing all Technic related folders and re-downloading the launcher, but this just keeps happening.

(Nevermind, just disabled AV Firewalls, then re-enabled them once it was done loading. Everything is working fine, now.)
