very little ram

Antivirus Program: when using the technic launcher i get very little ram for the game around 240 mb , but when i play normal minecraft i play with at least 800 MB.

this ram shortness is giving me lagg and i cant play with that

i tell the launcher to give it 1.5gb but it wont do that

how do i fix this so i can finally play it.

PS: my anti virus is panda. i entered that but idk why it says exactly the same thing as the description of the problem.

You're likely running 32-bit Java. Try telling your launcher to use 1GB and see what happens.

nop that didn't work it still wont give me more than 247mb

and it says that i have 174 allocated memory

You really need to read more carefully after clicking the Submit a Bug Report button.

well i haven't fount any other post how to fix this and i don't expect that its normal to have that little ram for the game.

The launcher log, as is so helpfully stated in the window for the Bug Report, is located in %AppData%\Roaming\.techniclauncher\logs. Use pastebin if it's too big for code tags.

Okay. Check for multiple Java installs (Control Panel) and remove the older ones. Then check to make sure you're not running other memory intensive programs. If that still doesn't work with 1GB assigned to the launcher, try dropping it to 768MB.

found something named javafx 2.1.1 removing it

edit: removing it didn't do anything

and how do i give the louncher that 700mb? it only gives an option for 500

512, then. I don't remember what the options are because I've never had to go that low, sorry. You're going to have to drop your detail levels quite a bit to get Technic to work reasonably well at this point.

its not the best but at least i have some more

I would guess your RAM is being used for other things that are running. It probably can't quite get up to 1GB. You can manually set the RAM allocation in the launcher properties config file. Try something like 768 just to see what it does. Then don't push the options button again.
