Launcher Version: 1.0.1.0

Operating System: Processor: AMD Athlon2 X2 245 Processor 2.90 GHz. System Type: 64-Bit Operating System

Java Version: Java 7 Update 5 (64-bit)

Antivirus Program: Norton 360

Description of Problem:

I would run TechnicLauncher, it would show it was loading then the banner would just sit there and I even went on the forums and i did create the rtemp folder, then run the bat file but nothing happened so obviously it's more than just that I would think.

Norton doesn't like the launcher. You can try adding exceptions for Java and the launcher, but I'd just disable or uninstall the whole thing and get a free one that works better.

I also get a banner freeze (it will check java and then load for about half a second the n display the "Technic Launcher" banner with the first letter of each word and the spanner blue which it will stay at on top of all other windows for at least half an hour (it still hasn't gone away)). I only use Zone Alarm and it is not blocking the technic launcher. the error message I get is:

I have no idea what this means so if anyone can explain that would be cool.

Also whenever I run regular minecraft it can't connect to minecraft.net but I think that that is because I updated Java
