Description of Problem:

I am running my server off my macbook and am trying to play with a few friends. I can only connect to my own server via localhost. Whenever I try to do it through my external ip it times out and gives me Connection refused: connect. I have my MacBooks firewall turned off and have no other antivirus on it. I've already port forwarded (25565). What am I doing wrong?

The only thing I can see is that the port forwarding might have been done incorrectly. Have you tried using the external IP from your computer?

I fixed my own by deleting nether ores. That seemed to work for me. I was already port forwarded from my original mc server. Thanks for the help though!
