Trouble setting up a Tekkit Server

I've been trying to set up an online server for days now and can not figure it out. I have a mac computer and when i download the server and click on launch.bat it just says

CEs-MacBook-Pro:~ matt$ /Users/matt/Desktop/Tekkit_Server_3/launch.bat ; exit;

Unable to access jarfile Tekkit.jar

/Users/matt/Desktop/Tekkit_Server_3/launch.bat: line 2: pause: command not found

logout

[Process completed]

I have deleted my old server and tried countless other things. Is there anyone that can help me??
