"INSTALLING MINECRAFT ASSETS"

I'm trying to install Tekkit Classic and after all the downloads and after it installied minecraft, it says "Installing minecraft assets" and it's stuck at 0%.

I've deleted everything, reinstalled, restarted computer, changed mod version and changed launcher version to beta.

Nothing seems to work.

If anyone has some light to shine upon this topic/problem it would be much appreciated.

You've got to install the Vanilla Minecraft on the Technic Launcher first, only then can you install minecraft assets.

I'm having the exact same issue!! Recently installed the launcher and minecraft on windows 10 comp, it worked for the first few times then stopped working!!

Worked till 1% stuck for 3 hrs gave up, happens with pretty much every modpack

How to Fix:

1- Download This File: https://libraries.minecraft.net/com/mojang/authlib/1.5.25/authlib-1.5.25.jar

2- Go To C:\Users\YourPCName\AppData\Roaming\.technic\cache\com\mojang\authlib\1.5.25

3- Put The Jar File Inside

4- Try Open Your Modpack Now
