technic launcher wont start

when i  clicked to open the launcher it said downloading and after it was finished nothing happened. i try and go to open it again and nothing happens. i let it sit for over  an hour and nothing happened. i made sure i went and updated my java and my logs are from this year and ideas on how to fix it?

ya same thing here, there seems to be a problem with the .exe itself
