Modpacks Pause When Loading

Hello!

Until recently my Technic Launcher had been working just fine. All mods functioned properly. However, every time I try to install and play ANY modpack it pauses with the loading bar reading (Grabbing org.ow2.asm:asm-all:4.1) at 4%. Does anyone know how to solve this issue to keep my launcher from continuously pausing? I am currently running a Mac 10.6.8

Since you're on Mac, it may be a problem with your Java version. Some mods require 1.7+ (like psychedelicraft). Try and install both of these for Mac OS (64 bit).

​I have tried both of these on my computer but a pop up comes up saying that I need OS 10.7.3 or later. I currently run 10.6.8. Any other solutions?
