The case of the vanishing Ore

I run a private Tekkit server a friend and I play on, and I've noticed a while back that most mod ore* have gone missing from the World. So all we have left is the Vanila ores and Quantum dust from qCraft

Luckily we're well stocked up and there's still the Nether ores...

Wondering if anyone has a clue about what happened and if this can be fixed.
