Launcher won't launch mod packs

Help, when ever I try to play a modpack, it goes from "Installing Minecraft Assets" to a quick flash of the launcher, and then nothing happens.

I just realized this problem today, cant find anything to fix it.

I tried reinstalling everything after deleting everything i could find. Still it does exactly as you describe.

Yea, I still can't get it to work. Good to know that others are experiencing the same problem and its not just me. If anyone else has any info on this please help us.

 

BTW I recently updated my drivers and it still doesn't work, and also deleted all files related to .technic, reinstalled technic itself and the mod, still won't launch

i might have found a fix, if you go in to your launcher settings

and click the box for the console

and if it says in red text: File version.json not found in C:\Users\(your pc name)\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\(your modpack name)\bin\modpack.jar

go to the bin folder in the folder link above, rename your modpack (there should be one in your modpack bin folder) to modpack.jar.
