Minecraft Forge Error

I'm trying to connect to an externally hosted Tekkit server, but I am getting an error about not having the required Forge version. It says "Must have Forge build #136+ (4069 fix) to connect to this server."

I am using the downloaded Tekkit server .jar from the TechnicPack website, along with the Technic Launcher provided. I have no idea how to update the Forge, nor how to solve this problem.

Everything works fine til I try to log on to my server then I get this message:

Must have Forge build #136+ (4069 fix) to connect to this server. (same as Zephire)

if you are trying to log in on server 3.1.1 when you open the launcher just click on the options button, select manual build selection, on the top (Select Modpack build) choice the lastest build (3.1.1|1.2.5) and play
