archimedes ship mod help

i am playing with archimedes ship mod that is in my resonant rise 3 modpack. i built my ship and airship and assemble them both fine. i can use them both correctly but the problem is whenever i LShift to get off the helm i glitch above the ships and drop striaght through them. and it happens on both, the ship and the airship. Does anyone know why this is happening or if there is a fix for this. the game is not crashing either, i just glitch to the middle of the ship and fall straight through it.
