OS: Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit

Java Version: Java Version 7 Update 5

Description of Problem:

After a random amount of time after I've logged in my Tekkit Server (which is running on the same machine as the game itself) my screen goes black for about 10 secs and then I turns back to normal exept the game window is frozen, I have to quit the Java-thread with the Task-Manager and I get a little Pop-Up Message saying that the driver ''amdkmdap'' did not react anymore and was restored successfully.

Currently I'm runnig "Catalyst-Version 12.6" (graphic-card driver).

Error Messages:

I don't get any error message in my Tekkit window (it just says that I disconnected) nor in the Minecraft window itself.

Is there no solution to my Problem? It would be very cool to be able to play on a tekkit server with some friends but right now I'm not able to play...

This is most likely a video card issue, either a driver problem or (less likely) hardware problem. Have you tried updating your drivers recently? If so, and it's still not working, have you tried an older driver version?

I've updated and also reinstalled the most recent drivers. I've tryed some of the older versions as well but non of them seem to improve the situation.

I guess I'm just going to try some more driver versions.

I also found this but non of the suggestions there made it any better for me either and since it's an problem only occuring if I use Tekkit, I thought it might be some problem within the code of it.
