Technic Logo freezes when started-up

Operating System: 64-bit

Java Version: Java 7

Antivirus Program: Avast

Description of Problem:

Whenever i start up my Technic pack it loads up fine until the Technic launcher comes up and it freezes and i have to go into my Task Manager to end it since it isnt a Program yet.
