Kafkakama Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Hi all, I am running my Modpack on Minecraft 1.7.10 and I'm getting around 40-60 FPS on it. It's great, but I'm wondering if there's a better option. My situation is I'm running a computer with a NVIDIA 970M Grpahics Chip. It runs Vanilla Minecraft (through the Minecraft Launcher) extremely well. The thing is it was running on default Intel Graphics the first time I played. I fixed this by forcing Java to run on my NVIDIA Graphics card in this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft\runtime\jre-x64\1.8.0_25\bin\javaw I was wondering if Technic Launcher also uses Intel Graphics by default, like Minecraft. If so, can anyone point me in the direction of the place where I need to force a change? TL;DR: Does Technic Launcher use Intel Graphics by default? Thanks in advance. Quote
EvilOwl Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Both the launcher and the actual game use java so set javaw.exe (on windows) to run on the nvidia chip. Quote
