Tekkit will not let me join a server

Launcher Version:I have no idea i think it is the latest

Operating System: osx

Java Version: i have no idea

Antivirus Program: i dont know

Description of Problem:

Ok when i login to my osx tekkit launcher its fine but when i join a server it says loging in the it goes to dirt then white then my tekkit closes it was just working earlier. I try to redownload and reload my tekkit launcher

then it also when i redownload it it also sometimes says like tumbler is down and update failed

Same thing here even though I have Windows 7 not Mac os. It says "Logging In" and then goes to a black screen (Which is totally normal) but then it goes white. So confusing!
