Skin Not Updating

Hey everyone!

I have recently started playing tekkit classic and realized that my skin hasn't been working. I haven't changed my skin in a while and I still have the default skin. I can see my player avatar head at the main screen, but as soon as I play multiplayer or single player, my skin doesn't work. Can anyone please tell me the problem. I've tried resetting the avatars folder. I've waited a week for it to work. I'm not sure what else to do. If anyone could resolve this issue, much is appreciated.

This is down to the Minecraft skin server address being updated in later versions of Minecraft.

Hello! 

Thank you for your generous reply. Unfortunately, I don't think I need to install that mod. I am playing on my tekkit server, minecraft version: 1.2.5 and all my friends have their skins except for me and another friend of mine. We're not sure why this is the problem. Could someone please reply what the problem is?
