Title: Batch File

Version: 3.0.3/3.0.4

OS: AMD Dual-Core Processor A4-3300M

Java Version: 7

Description of Problem:

I've posted a topic on this before but in the end I never got the solution. When I launch the batch file for the tekkit server I get this: 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. If you do end up finding the solution can you please post a detailed step by step walktrhough as I am not exactly that great with this stuff, though not useless either.

Thanks alot.

Are you sure you got a new version of java?

(Open start > run > cmd > type "-java version"

It's actually "java -version" - anyway, you may just need to add Java's bin folder to your system path variable. Google it if you're not sure how to do that.

Sorry currently away and will try that out tomorrow, just wondering, what about actually editing the batch file?

I was just looking at the tekkit questions area, some solutions have been made by just uninstalling all java programs on your computer then installing java. If you suggest this should I uninstall them via the control panel?

Thanks
