Can't connect to friends server

Java Version: 64 bit

Description of Problem:

When I try to connect to my friends server, I it just says connecting to server and then says failed to connect, connection timed out: connect. By the way we are both using hamachi and he can log into his server on his computer and i made my own on mine and he could not connect to me.

Error Messages:

Failed to connect to the server

Connection timed out: connect

Somebody's probably got an antivirus or a firewall that isn't allowing the connection.
