How to change a texture pack for tekkit

Hey there.

I have tried browsing the net for various texture pack editors however i cant seem to find the texture pack files for tekkit. can find them in the .minecraft folder but not in the .technicslauncher.

the point is that i need to change the texture for copper as i am colourblind and cant see it.

and as copper is not part of vanilla i need to change to texture for something in tekkit

There's a texturepacks folder in each mod pack folder. You can place alternate texturepacks there. Try one of the alternates. Otherwise, the files are scattered all over the place.

figured it out in the end.

now i have placed a big C in the middle of the copper texture..:)

I cant find the armor folder.. or anything.. i want the sphax texture pack, just not the armor i wanna switch the armor somehow
