CrazyOtters Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) After archiving my files, I have downloaded them to dropbox.com with a link of https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzupmwk9lczu99s/modpack.zip?dl=0, and then ran the files through a clean client on my minecraft launcher. The files run perfectly fine, but when I try to launch them in the tekkit launcher it does not work... While the files are supposedly suppose to be uploading, the download bar states: "Downloading Mod: legends-of-agnarook-1.0.zip -19220300%" The negative number at the end rapidly switches back and forth throughout the "supposed" download, when I finally get the error message: "Error downloading a file for the following pack: Legends of Agnarook Failed to download https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzupmwk9lczu99s/modpack.zip?dl=0 Please consult the modpack author" I have seen another thread on http://forums.technicpack.net/topic/149472-cannot-download-my-custom-modpack/ tried the solutions, but none of it works. If anybody can help, please do so... Sincerely, CrazyOtters Edited August 17, 2015 by CrazyOtters Quote
EvilOwl Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Try https://www.dropbox.com/s/nzupmwk9lczu99s/modpack.zip?dl=1 Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 17, 2015 Author Posted August 17, 2015 Thanks for the help, but it launches the game, only it is vanilla minecraft. Quote
EvilOwl Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 You made a directory ("legends of agnarook") inside the zip file, that's your problem. Zip together bin, mods and config to a zip file *without* a subdirectory and you should be fine. You need to reupload the file. Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 I'm sorry but I don't understand... Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 THANK YOU! Bochen415 you were a great help! Thank you again for helping me set up my modpack... Here is the link: http://api.technicpack.net/modpack/legends-of-agnarook Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) One last issue, the modpack crashes when you make a world D: Edited August 18, 2015 by CrazyOtters size Quote
EvilOwl Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Please edit your post and remove that crash log. Those need to be uploaded to pastebin.com or a similar site. It's considered spam here. Post only the link. Remove or update AntMan-Beta-1.7.10-1.0.0.jar and it should work. Update the rest of your mods. Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Thank you One last issue, the modpack crashes when you make a world D: Sorry about the double one last issue thing... I'm new to the tekkit forms Edited August 18, 2015 by CrazyOtters delete Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Updating antman did not fix the predicament... I have ran the entire modpack several times through vanilla minecraft, and it works fine. The issue is only in tekkit launcher. Quote
EvilOwl Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 When I debbuged your pack I removed antman, doggystyle and animalplus and the modpack started fine. Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 So when you removed the mods, you were able to startup the world? Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Removing the three files and their config does not resolve the issue... Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Now I am able to enter the world, but it immediately crashes when I exit the escape menu Quote
EvilOwl Posted August 19, 2015 Posted August 19, 2015 Post a link to the crash log (uploaded to http://paste.ubuntu.com/ or http://pastebin.com/) Did you update your modpack on the platform with the removed mods? Quote
CrazyOtters Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 I was able to do a lan world with my friends, but now it is back to the same issue: http://pastebin.com/n3E5yZ9d I kept the ANTMAN mod, because that the top five keepers. The modpack worked for a short time, and I tried to change my java to 64 bit for smoother play. Then it stopped working. Antman, dalek mod, lots of food, ironman mod, and morph are definite keepers. CrazyOtters Posted August 19, 2015 Author Posted August 19, 2015 Here is the real kicker... All of the saves I had from the working lan world period have imputed themselves in the vanilla minecraft launcher version and put the tested world from the vanilla minecraft launcher into the tekkit version! ?
