Description of Problem:

I have a very High end comp setup and it runs everything perfectly except Technic, Tekkit, Technic Launcher Etc. I cleaned out my computer defragmented my discs and did a disk cleanup yet i still had the problem. I have 400 FPS on Vanilla Minecraft and used to have 100-200 Stable FPS on the Technic Launcher, Now i get 15? Why is this? My comp is new only 6 months old and It runs everything else perfectly, Maybe its the launcher? I also have the newest version of Java and the Newest Version of the technic Launcher. I also Cleared my Cache and gave it 4 Gb's of Ram which should be well enough yet I still experience 15 Fps. Any help Would be appreciated. I did run a server and got horrible Fps, Yet in single player its the exact same thing.

Change your settings to actually use your video card. Laptops with default settings will often use the integrated graphics chipset for Java.

With that laptop? I wouldn't be at all surprised if you could hit 150-200 fairly easily. Just go into NVIDIA Control Panel and add the launcher, Java, and Minecraft to your list of programs to use the high-performance card with.
