Technic launcher not loading

I have downloaded the technic launcher to play, but nothing even works. I tried to open the launcher, but nothing happens. There is no .technic folder in the %appdata% file. I and many people probably need a solution. I am running Windows 10 off of 64 bit java on a 500gb Samsung laptop. Help??

Hey I am having the same problem but I do have the .techniclauncher  folder. A year and a half ago it would open but it doesn't now. I have Windows 10 with Java 64-Bit. Plz help me also.

I just re-installed my Java and it was fine. Give it a try! c:

uninstalled java and I am pretty sure that the re installation worked fine. if I sound stupid I'm just a kid lol but I am trying my best to make it work. cant even open .jar files now. ill try again

 

wow it worked thanks so much! I had my doubts but it worked. now I even hope that my 1.7.10 mods work lol
