Description of Problem:

When I try to log on to Tekkit, I get this error log after the Mojang screen. It mentions that there is a preexisting file in Slot 188 which is causing an illegal argument. I don't know how much of the log is relevant, but here it is.

Error Messages:

Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

Just delete the Launcher and re-download it?

The whole .techniclauncher folder, saving any worlds you have elsewhere, of course. :D

Alright, I might wait a day or so to see if anyone has a solution other than that, but thanks for the tip and I might end up doing that.

That is sorta the only solution that can be offered.

The regular fix won't work, seeing as everyone needs the same block ids.

Unless someone more experienced can offer up why this happened in the first place.

It would be nice to know why it happened. I hadn't done anything. Just one day it was working, the next day it wasn't.
