Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit, AMD A6-3420M with Radeon HD 1.5Ghz, 4GB ram

Java Version: Made sure it was up to date

Antivirus Program: I saw in the forums that this wont run with certain AV programs so i turned them off

Description of Problem:

I click the downlaod link for the technic launcher and i get and error that pops up "Unhandled excption has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you clikc Quit, the application will close immediatly.

I clicked continue and the Technic Pack window pops up and says "Checking Launcher Version.." and just sits there.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.
