I have recently downloaded the Tekkit platform, loaded Forge into my Minecraft, and pressed play. It loaded as per normal, but even after I waited for five minutes, I realized that it didn't launch. I realized Forge and Tekkit both don't run on Java 8, which is now a problem as Minecraft has it's own Java, so downgrading it is impossible.
Can you please upgrade Tekkit to Java 8? That way it might work, but I am still not too sure of it as it might be Forge that doesn't load.
