Missing pipes when turning SMP save into a SSP game

I had a server I frequented shut down recently, and I was disappointed to see everything gone. I asked for a copy of the save file so I could play it in SSP on occasion.

The problem I encountered was that the saves were structured differently. I've recovered pretty much everything and made it all work properly now except for 1 thing: My Buildcraft pipes are sort of invisible. Something is there which takes up space, and I can walk on where they are, but they don't pipe anything and the redstone engines aren't hooked to anything.

I'm might be missing some file which stores all of the Buildcraft pipes. Does anyone know where this is stored and where I need to move it, or am I being too vague here to be helped?
