Monstertrucker12 Posted August 1, 2012 Posted August 1, 2012 Look, Leopard is kinda old but it will do. The thing is I've looked, searched and watched but I cannot find a decent guide for Leopard installation. I really want to set up a server to play on. Please give me instructions on what to do. If you do, Thank you.
Stranger527 Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I just setup Tekkit on Mac OS X v10.8. The biggest hurdle you may face is having a suitable version of Java. Barring that, I found these useful: Watch this a few times. The kid is a little hard follow, but his steps are sound. Watch for the mods he deletes. I had to do the same thing. Useful reference: http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Setting_up_a_server Error message that may pop up - "Must have Forge Build #136+ (4096 fix) to connect to this server" The Technic Launcher Client needs to be set to use the most current developer build rather than the most recent recommended build. http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/must-have-forge-build-136-4096-fix-to-connect-to-this-server.18378/ There is nothing in the advice above that I can see that is Mac OS X version specific. Hopefully, it will help you like it helped me.
Monstertrucker12 Posted August 11, 2012 Author Posted August 11, 2012 Sorry for no advice but my I have a Mac OS X 10.5 which is pretty old!
