Launcher not working

Description of Problem:

the laucher downloads but wont run, it just gets stuck on the technic launcher pop up. please help. its a bramd new computer if that means anything.

Do you have an antivirus/firewall? It's amazing how many people leave that blank.

There ya go. Disable it, or add an exception for the launcher, at least while you're downloading.

Crap. Thanks, I read the list of Anti-Virus programs as those were the ones that were ok. I will try that when i get home.
