Launcher Version: 1.0.1.3

Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate service pack 1

Java Version: 1.7.0_05

Antivirus Program: AVG Antivirus (I've tried disabling it then downloading and running launcher to no avail)

Description of Problem:

When I try to open the launcher it asks if I'd like to update (not everytime) then whilst loading it stops on a random % and says 'Download Failed' this happens every time whether or not it asks me to update to the latest version

AVG likes to interfere with things even when it's disabled. I suggest removing it entirely.

MSE, Avast!, and even Avira, as long as it's updated, will do. I suggest one of the first two.
