hamachi server help

i set up a hamachi tekkit server and got it running. I can join my own server fine . The problem is that my friends cant join. Every time he tries to connect it says cant reach server can someone plz help me.

Are you a hacked user? Because hamachi is mainly used for that. Another thing... tekkit launcher doesn't even work if your hacked so why are you trying to make a hamachi server in the first place? Make a regular tekkit server, it ain't hard... just download the file from the site and start the launch.bat(windows) or launch.sh(Linux, Mac) file and all you have to do after doing that is go into your roughter and port forward 25565, and the usual roughter address is usually 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1

Because i dispise it. You realize people can steal information from hamachi... also hamachi can mess with a wireless card...

I disagree,

I use a Hamachi server myself just because I don't have excess to my router,

and the fact that you think you can hack someone with hamachi is wrong.

if you turn of the share settings in your hamachi someone can't excess your Computer

in what ever way. hamachi only makes it possible to have a virtual LAN connection with eachother

making it possible for others that can't port forward due no excess like me.

Make sure your friend is connected to your Hamachi,

go to your Tekkitserver folder and look for the file called "server.properties"

open that file with word or any text program. change your IP from 0.0.0.0 to

the IP of your hamachi, save your text file and make your friend connect in-game

with your hamachi IP.

ohh ok, well they musta updated hamachi... well i honestly still don't like it because it messes with networking cards

Also i just realized something.... the average user / noob won't think to turn this feature off let alone know what it even does or even cares what it does. So i think thats another flaw

During your hamachi installation it warns you about this and gives to option to secure your computer with a password,

before people can look into your computer they need to have the password, beside's that. people still can't see your C:// drive

or what ever drive you have in your PC, but can only see a separately made by Hamachi folder.

how would i go about to port forward something. And when i do that what do i give my friends to connect ?

it says its buggy and glitchy, but I have been using it for a week now and have not yet

experienced any problem. Good luck

mine is online 24/7 and is working lagless. Or if you manage to fix yours.

Well in order to join me you also need to join my Hamachi.
