Everytime I open the technic launcher all it does is open the logo and wont do anything.

Description of Problem:

The problem is I tried 2 different versionas and they both wouldnt work at all. All that happens if I open it is that the logo for Technic Launcher opens. And thats it. It doesnt even say its open in my task manager. And the only way to get rif of the task manager is to restart my computer. Its really annoying cause I cant install mods for anything and I was very hopeful when I saw this.

Your launcher log is depressingly unviewable. Also, you used a Tekkit version for the launcher version. Also, you didn't say whether your Java was 64-bit or not - a mismatched Java can be a problem. I'd disable Norton for running the launcher the first time. Finally, you should try the launcher .jar instead of the .exe.
