Launcher Version: newest

Operating System: 64 bit Windows seven

Java Version: 64 bit Java

Antivirus Program: Zone Alarm Antivirus

Description of Problem:

When I downloaded the Technic launcher I was able to download, or so it seemed at least, but it froze on the Technic launcher. I checked to see my windows install and java install were both 64 bit, and they are. I deleted the Technic pack files and re-downloaded. Same error.

I had a similar problem. Same antivirus, too. Posted in a similar thread (http://forums.technicpack.net/threads/technic-launcher-wont-start.10543/page-2#post-119375) quite awhile ago and the issue was never resolved. Our logs are exactly the same too. Sadly, I can't really help you at all. Everything I tried didn't fix the issue. Obviously I'm not the only one having this issue, so if anyone is actively working to fix this they have a little bit more to go on.

Have you considered completely uninstalling Zone Alarm? Because I might, if it helps.

Also, I forgot to include this but, when I started, my java and computer bit rates were different. 32 bit java and 64 bit Windows 7 This gave me the bug that was present in the "Common Bugs" page where the download wouldn't even start. I rectified this by installing 64 bit java and deleting 32 bit java. Then I got the bug that you see here.
