Port problems, need help! [FIXED]

Hi, maybe this is the wrong place to post this, but I'm trying to setup a server for me and some friends. I've got myself a static IP, forward the port 25565(default port) and 29426. But, when I try to launch the server it loads the mods etc. but when it comes to connect to the IP and port I get this message:

[iNFO] Starting Minecraft server on *IP:port*

[WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!

[WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Cannot assign requested address: JUM_Bind

[WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

I have no idea what's wrong and it's making me frustrated..

EDIT: Finally got it going! I reset the IP back to dynamic, removed the port forward and reapplied them. As for what was causing the error I have no idea.
