Stuck at Technic launcher screen.

Launcher Version: 3.0.1

Operating System: cer aspire 5733Z. Intel® Pentium® CPU. 2.13GHz 2.13GHz. 4GB RAM. 64-bit operating system.

Java Version: The newest. Don't know what its called. Sumtin about Windows 64bit.

Antivirus Program: McAffe. It is expired though.

Description of Problem:

So i start up the Technic launcher and it just says Technic Launcher and never goes away. I even tried starting it up from the techniclauncher folder with same results.

If McAfee is expired, I'd just remove it entirely. It could be trying to stop stuff anyway. You're looking at a download error, so something is blocking your internet connection (for this application).

Thanks So much! I deleted McAfee and now it works. Also before the problem above happened, it was crashing a lot. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but thanks so much!
