When loading up any modpack, it stops before the Mojang screen

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.7

Java Version: Java 1.7.0_05-b06

Antivirus Program: iAntiVirus

Description of Problem:

I start up the launcher, put my login details in and select a modpack. Everything for that modpack downloads, no issues there, which is good.

When everything's downloaded it tries to run the modpack, but it crashes before I get to the Mojang screen...and when I say crashes I mean it starts the window for Tekkit or whatever, but then just stops completely without giving me any error messages or anything.

Any help would be very good because I want to play with my friends on Tekkit.

I have got the same problem and just got it when I upgraded to mac Mountain Lion, Please help

This affects Lion and Mountain Lion? Oh God.

Okay, if anyone could tell us what the issue is, why this happens and how to fix it that'd be brilliant. If not a fix for it is all we need :)

SOLVED.

I guess, I really have no clue why it's working now after I failed 20 times in a row, but I'm not complaining, I can play any modpack I want now :D

Yes you may have solved it but what about everyone else who has the problem, it's not going to help us is it.

That's not going to help anyone else with the problem, can you try and figure out what you did.

Just run the launcher again and it should work, that's what I did.

Yeh I did that heaps of times and same happened happened to me what happened to you it just started working again.

Yeah it just started working again Not sure why really, I didn't change any settings whatsoever within the launcher and then it started up
