Freezing on Launcher Screen

Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit 7 gig of ram

Java Version: 7

Antivirus Program: AVG

Description of Problem:

I Run The Technic Launcher it says Technic Launcher and goes onto the main screen. I press Login and it starts to Login and then it will just freeze, at no particular point, its always different but always happens, and then wont continue loading?? what can i do
