Description of Problem:

the mods are in the folder, it just isnt finding them...had no problems up until today and i changed nothing. i did upgrade the launcher, tried deleting the tekkit folder...do not have the option to revert to an older version. worked yesterday, does not work today.

what are you trying to play? (hack/mine or Tekkit etc)

the problem is that the server you are trying to connect to has upgraded to a newer version of tekkit and you haven't. to fix that you need to open up the launcher to where you choose what to play. under the 'login' button there should be an 'options' buttton. click it. once you have done that click 'manual build selection' and a dropdown menu will appear. click that. now can you remember which build you were using? say it was '3.0.3' the server probably upgraded to a build like 3.1.1 or 3.1.2. choose one of them. if it does not work reload the launcher and choose each build until you find the right one. you will need to reopen the launcher each time you log in with a different build.

I was able to log on thanks for the help. It was older version and I dont even remember which one. I lost waypoints is all.

playing Tekkit.....will try what u said now. sorry i got frustrated and quit messing with it for a while. sorry it took so long to answer this thread. i will let u know if it works.

nope....i tried all the previous versions and it still comes up that i'm mossing mods, when they are all in the folder and it shows them loading. dunno what's up but i dont think it's on my end.

the person running the server has not upgraded the server. it should work just fine without us upgrading it and it doesnt work. she gets it where the game asks for mods to be installed as well and we both have all of them in our folder. the game is not recognizing them for some reason. any fix for this problem?

Maybe. Which mods are listed? If it's all of them, you need to get rid of AVG and reinstall. If it's between 1 and 7 or so, you have the wrong version of the client for the server.
