It did not, I'm afraid, I allowed all access to my PC through the Firewall, along with No Anti-virus, Downloaded a Few more Java things I've never seen before: "The JDK Pack" and Still No Hope re-installing the Whole thing, I don't know what else to try?

Downloaded a Few more Java things I've never seen before: "The JDK Pack"

Downloading random things doesn't help you. The JDK is for Java programmers.

Last-ditch fix effort: Uninstall Java (all versions, Java FX can stay, as well as any Java plugins you have for your browser(s)), delete .minecraft and .techniclauncher, as well as the launcher itself. Reboot. Download and install Java 7u5 with the appropriate bit version for your system. Reboot again. Download a brand-spanking-new copy of the .jar version of the launcher, and double-click on it. See what happens.

everybody I have a solution right click the launcher properties click on the tab compatibility under compatibility Mode uncheck : run this program in compatibility mode for: and choose windows XP (service pack 3) thats how it worked for me maybe you have to choose another one but this is the one for my computer

I've got the same problem going on with my computer so far none of the solutions have worked for me so far. I'm also using windows defender (I dont have talktalk) and I've deactivated my firewall to download and reinstall java 7u5 for 64bit (as per my system, 64 windows 7). The technic launcher.exe from the download site on technic.net runs and downloads the launcher &crates the .technicpack folder in appdata. I try running the newly created launcher and it creates the launcher folder the temp folder the log folder and the launcher.txt file and then freezes at the logo like Deadcow says. I cant supply much help but maybe with two people with the same problem on different systems we can see what the common variables are.

I Believe mine is a Java error, Yet even I do have the latest version and such, I've tried opening with different Java components as It was a supposed fix for it. (Such as opening with Javaw.exe and Etc.) Although, I compare it too my original minecraft, All that's missing is a Runfile, and I sometimes get error's using that too, my Original minecraft runs perfectly, As did Technic before hand, I believe my Technic was working, but then all the Servers went offline, and all it said Was Oh Noes, Tumblr is down! I thought an update was released, So I re-installed everything.. and Now it doesen't work, I could try to Return previous versions as I'm on Windows 7, Yet I'm not much of Help against this problem, I suggest we follow the Last resort solution, That Torezu provided us with. If not, We can still post our progress on this thread.

New Progress: I've done the instruction torezu provided, and Still, It doesen't work. Looks like I'm sticking to normal Minecraft for a while.

I have had this problem for a while, and the solution is actually rather simple. If this problem happens, it means the launcher was unable to allocate enough ram to run the software. freeing up ram can vary in difficulty. for me, all i have to do is shut off my computer untill the hard drive cools down (my computer overheats easily) and then the ram is refreshed. This may also be a problem with my overheating processor, but either way this fixes it for me. i hope i helped at least someone.

Okay. Ignore the guy before me. As shown by his extensive knowledge of how overheating computers should not be handled, he probably shouldn't be trusted to touch the things. Anyway, try the solution described in this thread. I had to go digging a ways back to find it.

I got past the logo and I'm having the tumbler feed down thing as well.. Tried adding more memory disabling all firewalls, i just can't connect to technic at all. I've read multiple forums and tried a lot of fixes. (firewalls, .bat files, redownloading etc.) I have windows 7 64 bit. If only i could connect to the technic launcher tumbler feed i can get the update to fix all of this. (tried getting update from friend files, could not connect still T.T)
